Syme punches partnership ticket with Savile Row Travel Group

2nd March 2022

Modest! Golf are delighted to confirm that client Connor Syme has signed a sponsorship agreement with The Savile Row Travel group.

In just four years since turning professional, former Walker Cup star Syme has firmly established himself on the main stage of European golf.

A former top-20 ranked amateur, the proud Scot made a seamless transition to the paid circuit, landing his first professional victory at the Turkish Airlines Challenge in 2019 in just his second season as a professional.

A graduate to the top tier of European golf in 2020, Syme has added a marked consistency to his game and is excited to tackle the 2022 season with fresh support from Savile Row Travel.

“I am so proud to confirm my partnership with Savile Row Travel,” said 26-year old Syme, who is attached to Drumoig Golf Centre in Scotland.

“Travel and logistics are such a huge part of any tour player’s career so to have the knowledge and expertise of Savile Row Travel to help me on the journey is a massive plus.

“They’re a company whose values I admire greatly and the whole team has supported me so much recently. I am very excited to now represent them as I travel around the world competing on the DP World Tour and I hope to repay the faith they’ve shown in me.”

No strangers to globetrotting, Savile Row Travel is a company that combines stunning destinations with private tours to create the ultimate luxury holidays. Although Syme jets around the world to earn a living, through the partnership, the travel experts will ease his off-course worries, mapping out the most cost-effective and time-efficient itineraries so Syme can focus on the fairways.

“Savile Row Travel are delighted to be sponsoring Connor as he continues to impress on the DP World Tour,” said Savile Row Travel CEO, Richard Lewis.

“Tailoring Connor’s travel needs precisely to fit his busy schedule is something we are very cognisant of and we are looking forward to supporting him in any other way we can.”

The partnership arrives off the back of Savile Row Travel unveiling its new Golf Travel Division in 2021 with Lewis promising more announcements in the golf space in future.
“Savile Row Travel is proud to have launched its new Golf Travel Division and the combination of supporting up-and-coming players like Connor, combined with our network of sports-related affiliates, will introduce some exciting new initiatives to the golfing world very soon,” Lewis added.
